When it comes to keeping sunlight out your sight, no sunglasses will do a better job than Aviator’s. Because of the tempered glass lens, these will prevent light from breaking through, while only allowing 15% of incoming light. Developed in 1936, for the military to replace the outdated goggles, most aviators today have kept step its original construction.
