Words of Wisdom: Direction vs Speed.
Being the first is essential; however, being the first comes with responsibility. Very often, we congratulate and celebrate the early trailblazers who rose to the top in new industries. As alluring as it is to be first in a new sector or a new user to a new app, what's more important than the speed of your success is the direction. How fast you get somewhere doesn't mean anything if you're not headed in the right direction. The course is dictated by purpose. To know where to go, you have to discover your purpose, which is your internal map. In the book "The Alchemist," the main character was looking for treasure and had a vision of finding his personal legend at the pyramids. Without that vision, he wouldn't know where to start. For those who read the book understand that the quest took quite a bit of time and hardships for him to discover his personal legend. The one thing that kept his vision alive was focusing on the direction of the next move, and not the speed. It's tempting to look for options to accelerate the process, but shortcuts don't give you the full experience of the journey you were destined to have. Directions keep our life narrow and on track to help us reach our destination. Speed is worthless without direction. Both are beneficial and can work together if used wisely. If you concentrate on the course, the speed can help aide and support you on your quest.
God speed and coffee cheers, my friend!
