Before you can celebrate anything on the surface, you have to acknowledge and appreciate the soil.

In 2019 I can honestly say it's been a year of planting. But to receive a harvest, you must be willing to go through the process of being planted. So, let’s be honest being planted isn’t easy or convenient as it seems. Being planted is dark, requires time to be alone, and forces you to be off the radar, which is uncomfortable for most because everybody wants to be visible, especially on social media. Being planted requires patience and becoming comfortable with seeing nothing at all, even though you're doing the work. It's a season that can break a lot of dreams because we get discouraged when theirs no signs of a potential harvest that we felt was promised. 2019 was that year for me; it was a year I wanted to focus more on my brand, my company, and what aligned with my purpose. So, a lot of the moves and preparation I kept to myself until God started to reveal the harvest slowly. Going into 2020, I had two TV guest appearances where I got to talk with my sister about our publishing company "Generation Write Now." In the second TV segment, I got to speak and highlight "Tony Thrifts" and my style services through a live styling segment. Before you can celebrate anything on the surface, you have to acknowledge and appreciate the soil. Without the soil, you won’t have the environment you need to reap a harvest. For 2020 I want to encourage everybody to have the courage to plant a seed. Whether it's a financial seed, lifestyle, or spiritual seed, don't be afraid to plant and commit to that seed. And lastly, embrace everything that comes with planting that seed. Please don't ignore or discount the commitment and work it will take once you plant that seed. It's easy to celebrate the harvest but learn to appreciate the process.

Coffee cheers, my friend. Welcome to the New Year.
